  1. Hi Ferdy, these are actually female/juvenile Silver-beaked Tanagers. If you compare with your other photo, you should note that the birds on this photo have a longer, thinner bill, with the silvery lower mandible that is characteristic of Ramphocelus tanagers. Posted 2 years ago

The silver-beaked tanager is a medium-sized passerine bird. This tanager is a resident breeder in South America from eastern Colombia and Venezuela south to Paraguay and central Brazil, Perú and on Trinidad. It is common and conspicuous.
