Nice shot, but it appears to be a female Orthetrum luzonicum.
Pterostigmas are quite different from P. flavescens, you can cross check it on species file...

    No, it is a female ;o) No doubt whatsoever if you check the morphology of the final segments of the abdomen.. shape of S8, and the characteristic morphology (in this angle) of genitalia, with two simetric appendix (in males there are three visible) .The base of the abdomen is also much wider than the male. Since this specimen is not immature, it can only be a female, due to the yellow colors of its body ;) Posted 8 years ago

The Marsh skimmer, also known as tricolored marsh hawk, and slender blue skimmer, is a species of dragonfly in the family Libellulidae. It is widespread in many Asian countries. It breeds in marshes, boggy areas and wet abandoned rice fields. Commonly found perched around marshes, ponds, paddy fields, and stagnant part of rivers and streams.
