There have been several documented &#039;attacks&#039; of Barracudas on scuba divers, mostly due to mistaken identity.  Scuba divers are generally advised not to wear jewelleries and &#039;shiny&#039; objects as this can attracts the attention of Barracudas.  Barracudas usually hunt/feed on smaller reef fishes and the reflections of shiny objects may let them associates it with the reflection of scales and small fishes.  Their sharp teeth can easily slice through fingers!<br />

The great barracuda also known as the giant barracuda, is a species of barracuda. Great barracudas often grow over 6 feet long and are a type of ray-finned fish.
