Black-crested antshrike (female), Inírida river, Colombia I'm glad I asked our guide for help on this one, as I was completely on the wrong track. Superficially, I figured this to be one of dozens of woodpeckers known to occur in Colombia, yet the bill was off. Confusingly, it's an antshrike, a black-crested even, yet in this case it is the female having the spectacular red crest.
