''Diplacodes lefebvrii'', the Black Percher, is a species of dragonfly in the family Libellulidae. It is a very widespread and common species in Africa, across the Indian Ocean and into Eurasia and Europe. In Africa it is found nearly everywhere outside forest areas. It is found from the Indian subcontinent to southwest Asia and Arabia. In the Mediterranean it is fairly common on the south and east coast. Its European range is confined to Cyprus, the Greek island of Rhodes and the southern half.. more
