Stick Insect, Phasmid - Phasmotaenia sanchezi
This is a female Phasmid of the species - Phasmotaenia sanchezi.
Very large size, body length around 18-20 cm. Mostly green in colour, with serrated spines on her legs.
Her end of abdomen is an elongated scoop like thing which she uses to 'flick' her eggs.
The tiny brown patch in the picture is her super tiny wings, which she opens up she disturbed or touched, sort of a defensive mechanism but its strange since it is so tiny, it wouldn't scare of its predator.

Phasmotaenia sanchezi is a species of Phasmid from the family of Phasmatidae.
Another similar looking species was described by a team of German & Filipino Taxanomist as Phasmotaenia elongata Zompro & Eusebio, 2000. This was however considered the same as Phasmotaenia sanchezi by Hennemann & Conle. 2009.
