Gargantuoidea triumphalis is a species of Phasmid from the family of Lonchodidae.

An impressive insect with a very good flight in spite of its size (around 13-14 cm). The general colouration is light brown with some whitish patches. The back of the abdomen has a large dark blotch. The mesathorax of both sexes has about 17-20 lateral spines. much larger in the females.
