Stick Insect, Phasmid - Kalocorinnis wegneri

This is a very rare female Phasmid of the species - Kalocorinnis wegneri. She is small in size, around 6 cm.

This species was only described in 1995.
First specimen found was back in 1956 by A,M.R. Wegner, I gather this species is named after him for the discovery. Second specimen was found in 1983. Both specimen materials are incomplete and damaged.

Males of this species have not been discovered yet.
