Skeletons This are the skeletons of Common Bottle-Nose Dolphins seen in the Turtle Cave/Tomb of Sipadan Island.
This cave was featured in a documentary narrated by Sir David Attenborough describing the cave as Turtle Tomb, supposedly that's where Turtles went to 'die' because of numerous Turtle skeletons found in the cave. On the contrary, the Turtles died inside the cave from drowning when they couldn't exit the cave, not because they intentionally go there to die.

I am not sure of the background story behind this skeleton of dolphin, supposedly died in the cave, but I suspect it is more likely that a dead dolphin was placed inside the cave to make the cave more interesting for scuba divers .
Besides the skeleton of Turtles (likely to be natural) and this Dolphin, there is also the skeleton or remains of a Marlin, which is likely placed there by divers. Bottle-Nose Dolphin,Common bottlenose dolphin,Dolphin,Geotagged,Mabul,Malaysia,Spring,Tursiops truncatus Click/tap to enlarge

The common bottlenose dolphin, or Atlantic bottlenose dolphin, is the most well-known species from the family Delphinidae. Common bottlenose dolphins are the most familiar dolphins due to the wide exposure they receive in captivity in marine parks and dolphinaria, and in movies and television programs. The common bottlenose dolphin is the largest species of the beaked dolphins.
