The Mottled Soapfish - Rypticus bicolor is mottled gray-brown body with irregular light yellowish spots and blotches on body and fins. Slightly concave from snout to first dorsal fin. Tip of bottom jaw pointed. Eyes far forward and high. Tail rounded.
