Have seen the more common Harlequin Ghostpipefish and Robust Ghostpipefish in Maldvies before, but not this one, which is one of the rarer species of Ghostpipefish, usually found near or next to Halimeda algae, giving it its name.<br />

This a Ghostpipefish - Solenostomus halimeda was a surprise find during this Maldives trip.
