  4. Fantastic shot Ludo! I recently tried photographing at a bird show and it's quite hard. Posted 7 years ago, modified 7 years ago
    1. Thanks Ferdy, also for promoting it! It was hard for me too, I shot lots and lots of photos, moving the camera in a sometimes fluid motion in sync with the birds. Only when in sync I made sharp focus non-blur photos, it was quite a feat;) some shots were great, lots of them meagre;) Posted 7 years ago
      1. Good point, "panning" I think the word is. Another possible trick is to not be tempted to maximize focal length. At maximum focal length the bird moves a lot faster across your viewport. By keeping more distance and cropping later you may have a bigger chance at success. Posted 7 years ago

The White-tailed Eagle , also known as the Sea Eagle, Erne , or White-tailed Sea-eagle, is a large bird of prey in the family Accipitridae which includes other raptors such as hawks, kites, and harriers. It is considered a close cousin of the Bald Eagle and occupies the same ecological niche, but in Eurasia.
