Yes, I know - another Komodo Dragon photo, but this one our guides dubbed "The National Geographic" photo because the way it posed for us with the island landscape and ocean behind it. It is still one of my favorite photos.

  No, I don't mind at all - since I am really a beginner when it comes to photography, I welcome any and all advice. Having said that, other than planning my shot better, is there anything I can do now? Cropping tends to just cut in a straight line. Posted 8 years ago

    Sure, it's an easy fix. In Photoshop you just draw a line across the true horizon, in Lightroom, just rotate the image until it aligns with the true horizon, in both cases a 5 second fix. It is true that this cuts of parts of your image, but in this example you have enough room. I'll send you a private link with the fixed version :) Posted 8 years ago

The Komodo dragon

The Komodo dragon is a large species of lizard found in the Indonesian islands of Komodo, Rinca, Flores, Gili Motang, and Padar. A member of the monitor lizard family, it is the largest living species of lizard, growing to a maximum length of 3 metres in rare cases and weighing up to approximately 70 kilograms.
