
Coral Cardinalfish - Siphamia corallicola
This Coral Cardinalfish - Siphamia corallicola is silvery undercolor with large red-brown blotches; hint of large darkish spot on tail base.
They may not be a beautiful or colourful fish, but serious underwater photographers pays attention to them because they are mouth brooders, meaning they keeps and incubate their eggs in their mouth, spitting it out from time to time to aerates the eggs/embryos.
In the picture, the eggs are already in advance stage, silverish colour with tiny dots of black for the eyes.
