  1. There should be only one entry per species. Because there are already 30 photos identified as Inachis io it would be easier to just change the species name and description of that species instead of changing all the IDs to the new one.

    1. I understand, but take this example into consideration, Aglais urticae, is the accepted name for the former N. urticae. Wiki has this species identify as such for quite a while. A. io and A. urticae are much more related to each other than the congener Nymphalis species such as Nymphalis polychloros and Nymphalis antiopa... It's hard to maintain species names updated, accordingly, but I think it's better to keep up with the changes.

      1. Well, the EOL data is somewhat controversial. It has the photos listed as Nymphalis io with the description from Wikipedia below which is about Aglais io.

        The Catalogue of life data is bases on the Global Lepidoptera Names Index of the Natural History Museum in London but I don't know how up-to-date it is. GBIF and EOL are mainly based on it.
        The BOLD Systems also have it listed as Aglais io.
