    1. They are small in size, there is another species, much smaller from Malaysia, called Mouse Deer or Kanchil in local language and the name Mouse Deer speaks for itself, Deer the size of Mouse, but bigger than Mouse :D Posted 2 years ago

    1. Yes, Barry they are very shy.
      I have seen the smaller Mouse Deer/Kanchil in Malaysia several times, be it day time or night time, didn't have the opportunity to take any pictures of them at all.
      This was seen at Singapore Night Safari, its like a semi-zoo, but still depends on your luck when you go to their enclosures/set-ups, whether they are out for you to see. Sometimes, they are too far away, or hidden among the bushes.
