Sunbathing

This Leaf Insects - Phyllium philippinicum, although known as leaf insects for the mimicry and resemblance to leafs, they are still considered Stick Insects/Phasmids. Their 'widened' abdomen is a form of thin appendages to mimic the leafs, the true 'abdomen' is still slender like all other phasmids as can be seen in the 'shadow' in the picture.
