  1. Any thoughts on the Wikipedia statement that it is found in Europe? Posted 8 years ago
    1. It is probably another species but I am not sure which one, they are so similar. The article lists Pterophorus niveus (described as Aciptilia nivea). The other site suggests Aciptilia niveodactyla which is a synonym of Pterophorus niveodactyla.

      1. If you're not sure, I'm definitely not sure :) Thanks for the research. I double-checked the maps, here's 3 of the claimed species:

        No evidence that Pterophorus pentadactyla has any presence outside Europe, so removing the ID. Sorry, @Albert ;)

          I got that ID when I posted to another FB forum. They then keep the records of it on their website.
          I looked it up again and realised they have change the ID to Pterophorus niveus :D
