Kinabalu Angle-toed Gekko This species; Kinabalu Angle-toed Gekko - Cyrtodactylus baluensis occurs in the primary montane forests of Sabah, Northeast Borneo, mainly between 900 and 2200 metres elevation, although there are reports of its occurrence down to 200 metres in other parts of northern Borneo. At night it can be found clinging to gnarled tree trunks at eye-level or in crevices at the base of trees.  <br />

Its dorsal colour is light brown or fawn, with regular brownish-black bands crossing the body and tail. The back of the head may have a similar, but more broken, pattern, or it may be plainly coloured light brown. It lays two rounded eggs under the soil.
