7-spot Ladybird start problems
I found this ladybug in the water so I got him out and placed him on the flower to recover. Here he tries if his wings are ready to fly. Apperently not because later he ascended the flower 'on foot'.
This is the same beetle as in the Brush Beetle picture (because I was looking at the flower for this ladybug I also saw the brush beetle land on the flower later on).

Coccinella septempunctata is the most common ladybird in Europe. Its elytra are of a red colour, but punctuated with three black spots each, with one further spot being spread over the junction of the two, making a total of seven spots, from which the species derives both its common and scientific names.
