    1. Which might suggest that they arrived on the island after it was separated and then diversified to fill unfilled niches. You see the same thing to a lesser extent on Hawaii. But in any case, a fascinating group, no? Posted 8 years ago

The rufous vanga is a species of bird in the Vangidae family. It is monotypic within the genus ''Schetba''. It is endemic to Madagascar, where its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
