Can you see me? This Crptic Sponge Shrimp - Gelastocaris paronae is highly camouflaged on its host Sponge. They can varies in colour like in this case red/orange, to grey, white, yellow and shades in between. The body usually takes after the colour of the Sponge host and it is usually the white outline of the body and legs that will give them out.

If not mistaken, there is only one species described under the genus of Gelastocaris, but there could be several sightings of shrimps that may falls under the genus.

As not much study is done on them, it could be doubtful if this particular Spotting is the same as the other white/beige posted before. Probably DNA analysis will be the only way to tell them apart.
