Stick Insect, Phasmid This is a female Phasmid of the species Obrimus uichancoi. They can be variable in colour; green, brown and a mix of in between.  Phasmids from this species are spiny.<br />

I have seen this species on several occasions and only the females.  It is possible that this species have become Parthenogenesis, meaning they are reproducing without males.  Several species of Phasmids have been recorded to be Parthenogenesis in their population and thrived.
