My escort This Thysanostoma thysanura Jellyfish can be variable, some with the long tentacles and some without.
This particular one has a bell of around 10cm and the tentacles was around 25-30 cm long.
It was floating with the surface current, just one and was accompanied by a Filefish and a Jack (not in the picture).
It is very common for some Jellyfishes, especially the bigger ones to become 'host' or shelter for juvenile fishes and sometimes even shrimps and crabs. Geotagged,Jellyfish,Malapascua,Philippines,Spring,Thysanostoma thysanura, cebu Click/tap to enlarge PromotedSpecies introCountry intro
