Mating blue tailed damselfly pair. I was in the Streekbos again when i saw this mating damselfly pair. almost got backpain from watching how their bodies were. it was littered with mating damselflys that day. i am interrested in how you guys find this photo and also the way they mate, as i didnt know it. as always i am open for feedback as i am still learning as a beginner. 1. It's a good shot, Rudolph, I particularly like that you left some room around the subject, this gives some more context to the scene.

Fun fact about their mating: the "hooks" by which they cling into each other, only fit for the same species.

    1. Thanks for the compliment ferdy. it indeed gives some more context. i am happy that it turned out this way.

oh haha, that indeed is a fun fact. and pretty astounding that nature works like this, even with animals this small. didnt know that, since i am more focussing on close up photography i have learned alot about nature already. and there is much more to learn.
