
"Digitalis purpurea" is a species of flowering plant in the plantain family Scrophulariaceae, native to and widespread throughout most of temperate Europe. It is also naturalised in parts of North America and some other temperate regions. The plants are well known as the original source of the heart medicine digoxin.

I just looked up the raw images on my site and posted. Hence, it took awhile to answer back. :-) I found the picture too warm in color and I've changed and what the color lighter. Some parts dodge and burn.

I am also pleased with the picture of the bullfrog. The lens that I've photographed him I have not so very long and when I saw the frog, I thought, I'm going to try with the 300 mm. Normally I would use my macro lens. I would not know afterwards how he would have become with the macro lens actually, because I later the frog left alone. Next time maybe :-) It's always try of course. But I was really happy! Posted 13 years ago
