Spotted Shrimpgoby
The Spotted Shrimpgoby - Amblyeleotris guttata is white in colour, with bright orange spots on head and body, dark band under rear head and another under belly; whitish iris with black markings. Share burrow with alpheid Shrimp.
Found in sandy bottoms of lagoons and seaweed slopes.
I was not able to take picture of the Shrimp that shares its burrow as they have an interesting symbiosis relationship. The Shrimps are blind and will do the 'housekeeping' of the burrow they shares, by clearing out rubbles, stones and pebbles that falls into the burrow. The Shrimpgoby (variety of species) will be guarding at the entrance of the burrow and will signal to the Shrimps by waving its tail to signal to the Shrimp of potential dangers. Very interesting and amusing to watch.

''Amblyeleotris guttata'', the Spotted prawn-goby is a species of goby native to reefs of the Western Pacific Ocean, that includes the Philippines to Tonga, north to the Ryukyu Islands, south to Australia.
