  1. So cool, and lovely composition. Where did you find it? And do you know what specie it is? Posted 13 years ago, modified 13 years ago
    1. When we wanted to go home the weekend at the Camping in the Veluwe in the Netherlands, he sat under the bike we wanted to put inside. I saw him quickly on the grass and quickly put the camera out of the car and photographed with the 300 mm. But it is a Pad ( Netherlands (I know the name in english) What kind of path it is I do not know. I can "pad" word with google translator not find unfortunately. Posted 13 years ago
  2. Great scene and good sharpness. I like the expression in his face, like it is in a grumpy mood. Posted 13 years ago
    1. Thank you very much Joost! :-) Posted 13 years ago

  4. Wohow, with a 300mm, I wanna have such a lens;) Great timing and great opportunity, you did it and made a great shot. Posted 13 years ago
    1. Thank you very much Ludo. I am very happy with this lens, I saw him since February. It is a 300 mm F4 without VR. The F2.8. that do VR was above my budget :-) Posted 13 years ago
  5. The beauty of this shot is, I think, its simplicity in colour palette. It's either the 'pad' or the softest of green. And it is absolutely sharp in focus with a well chosen DOF given the time you had, which must have been shortish. Posted 13 years ago
  6. Thank you very much Ludo!

He remained some time sitting still, and I lie on the grass for as much as possible low position. Also nice to the lens and camera to give more support. In his eyes, and when the composition determined.

The European toad is an amphibian widespread throughout Europe, with the exception of Iceland, Ireland and some Mediterranean islands. Its easterly range extends to Irkutsk in Siberia and its southerly range includes parts of northwestern Africa in the northern mountains of Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia.
