
The saw-blade shrimp is a species of broken back shrimp (Hippolydiae) that occurs throughout the Indo-West Pacific and the Red Sea.
The shrimp is associated with black corals and sea whips. An elongated shrimp, which blends in with the coral not only by its shape, but also by adopting the same colour bands as it's particular coral colony host.
