  1. This brings back memories of how indeed their nests are huge:

    Jabiru Stork nest in the Pantanal You'll find adult Jabiru Storks mostly on the ground, yet they nest in trees. Here we "discovered" a large nest of baby Jabirus during one of our walks in the Pantanal. Brazil,Jabiru,Jabiru mycteria,Pantanal,Stork,nest

The Jabiru is a large stork found in the Americas from Mexico to Argentina, except west of the Andes. It is most common in the Pantanal region of Brazil and the Eastern Chaco region of Paraguay. It is the only member of the genus ''Jabiru''. The name comes from a Tupi–Guaraní language and means "swollen neck".
