  1. I was about to create the species ID manually when I found out that an English wiki page had recently been created. Looking at the text however, it is not the same. Maybe somebody created the ID some time ago and forgot to identify it??? Posted 6 years ago, modified 6 years ago
    1. Thanks for checking the species wikipedia status. I removed the 'No english wiki' from the description because the wikipedia entry exists this time.
      As far as I can see everything is fine now.

The Phyllopertha horticola is a beetle of the family Scarab Beetles (Scarabaeidae), and is also called chafer beetle. The beetle is somewhat similar to the related June beetle, yet it is smaller, and more hairy on the elytra. The elytra are reddish colored, the rest of the body is black with a green-blue, metallic sheen.
