Passerinis Tanager outside the window
Since Ferdy wrote in his photo of this bird: "This bird is a lot more beautiful than this picture shows", I couldn't resist posting one that really does show how beautiful the bird is! Please don't take this wrong - I think that Ferdy's pictures are fantastic and along with so many others of you here, have been inspired to try and make my photos even better!
Passerini's Tanager, ''Ramphocelus passerinii'', is a medium-sized passerine bird. This tanager is a resident breeder in the Caribbean lowlands from southern Mexico to western Panama. There's no need to be careful with me, I don't take myself very serious as a photographer.
The more photos of a species we have, the better. The community will decide which of the set will become the cover image. Multiple photos will show multiple angles and multiple locations, which are all valuable. So don't hold back adding photos to existing species.
Good photos of a species, a better photo of a species and even a worse photo of a species all have values at JungleDragon, as long they are not (near)duplicates. Posted 8 years ago
