Clouded Footman (Anestia ombrophanes) Part 5 Taken about 17 days later, the larvae had hatched and can bee seen crawling outside the cocoon as tiny white caterpillars with shiny black heads. They are off in search off some delicious lichen, perhaps !<br />
Time span between stages is approximate but the whole process seemed to take about 20 days....<br />

Taken about 17 days later, the larvae had hatched and can bee seen crawling outside the cocoon as tiny white caterpillars with shiny black heads. They are off in search off some delicious lichen, perhaps !
Time span between stages is approximate but the whole process seemed to take about 20 days....
