      Just came back from a trip to the 'leenderheide' and did some sharp shooting there. Was able to hit some bugs with my macro gun ;)

        1. Check out the darter picture. Personally I am pretty proud of that one not only because it is close and sharp but also because I have seen such pictures made by others and now I have been able to do that too.

          I 'shot' some other insects too but am still busy finding the names.

"Bombus lapidarius" is a species of bumblebee in the subgenus "Melanobombus". Commonly known as the red-tailed bumblebee, "B. lapidarius" can be found throughout much of Central Europe. Known for its distinctive black and red body, this social bee is important in pollination.
