Seychelles Bronze Gecko
I wish that I had taken more time to get a better picture, since it was in the forest and there wasn't much light - but the guide was heading away and we didn't want to (weren't allowed to) get separated. The islands of the Seychelles are just great for this sort of thing - endemic critters everywhere you look!
The Seychelles bronze gecko is a species of lizard in the family Gekkonidae endemic to Seychelles.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, plantations, rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forests.
It is threatened by habitat loss.
