Probably a kind of fungi (but not sure wich) This is a shot of some sort of fungi made when i was in Bergen. it maybe isnt a very good shot, but i found it fascinating how it grew out of an old treetrunk. hopefully you guys enjoy it. and if you have any feedback, i am open for learning. "Xylaria hypoxylon" is an inedible species of fungus in the genus "Xylaria". The fruit bodies, characterized by erect, elongated black branches with whitened tips, typically grow in clusters on decaying hardwood. The fungus can cause a root rot in hawthorn and gooseberry plants.
