Giant Cowbird and Capybara friend
OK, I could have listed this one under Capybara - but instead I chose the bird to add a new species to JD! Like my other Capybara and bird photo, birds of the Pantanal in Brazil love to perch on Capybaras and the "Water Swine" don't seem to mind.
The giant cowbird is a large passerine bird in the New World family Icteridae. It breeds from southern Mexico south to northern Argentina, and on Trinidad and Tobago. It may have relatively recently colonised the latter island.
