The bluethroat (Luscinia svecica) is a small passerine bird that was formerly classed as a member of the thrush family Turdidae, but is now more generally considered to be an Old World flycatcher, Muscicapidae. It, and similar small European species, are often called chats.

Excellent shot :o) Welcome on the site! If you click on the button "identify species" to the right of the image you can fill in the scientific name (Luscinia svecica) and the photo will be of more use and can be found in more ways. Also, entering a country or better yet geotagging provides more valuable info with the photo.
