        1. I had that doubt too, but I'll rely on your ID, Martin, this ones were found upon Cynara cardunculus, but I know that they can be found over other plants like those ones you refer. Thanks so much for your time! Cheers*

  2. Hi Rui, I just uploaded some images of Cassida viridis myself, so I stumbled on this one of yours. Frankly, I don't think it is viridis - the shape of the pronotum is all wrong for that.

    I'm having half a mind for rubiginosa for this one, but I will need to check what species are present in Portugal (some that I may not be familiar with) ... will get back on that (much) later.
    What about the larva? Was it associated with this adult?
