Comet Starfish The Comet Starfish - Linckia multifora is a variously colored starfish in the family Ophidiasteridae that is found in the Indian Ocean and Red Sea. Its common names include the Dalmatian Linckia, Mottled Linckia, Spotted Linckia, Multicolor Sea Star and Multi-pore Sea Star.<br />

This particular Starfish has a re-generated &#039;disc&#039;, meaning a single arm of the starfish that has been detached is growing a new disc (the central part) and from there, regrowing the additional 4 arms.  <br />
