Pair of Zebra Sharks This is a pair of Zebra Sharks - Stegostoma fasciatum, seen in their courting ritual with the male shark biting the tail of the female shark.  This 'ritual' can go on for a few hours for him to get her into the 'mood' for the eventual mating. The zebra shark is a species of carpet shark and the sole member of the family Stegostomatidae. It is found throughout the tropical Indo-Pacific, frequenting coral reefs and sandy flats to a depth of 62 m.
