Thereuopoda longicornis (probably) Scutigeridae found in Pangandaran, Java, Indonesia. About the same size as our European Scutigera coleoptrata.<br /> <br /> The only records I can find for Scutigeromorpha from Java are for Thereuopoda longicornis. The only other species listed for Malesia in Chilobase are:<br /> Allothereua manila Chamberlin, 1944 from the Philippines<br /> Parascutigera montana Verhoeff, 1937 from Malacca, Malaysia<br /> Parascutigera philippina Chamberlin, 1921 from the Philippines<br /> Thereuopoda sandakana Chamberlin, 1944 from British North Borneo<br /> <br /> So for the moment I suppose that current status of research would make it likely that my Scutigeridae from Java are Thereuopoda longicornis :o) Centipede,Chilopoda,Geotagged,Indonesia,Scutigeridae,Scutigeromorpha,Thereuopoda,Thereuopoda longicornis Click/tap to enlarge Country intro

The only records I can find for Scutigeromorpha from Java are for Thereuopoda longicornis. The only other species listed for Malesia in Chilobase are:
