What a tail! I knew that you would have lots and lots of Ring-tailed Lemur pictures but I always liked this one as quite distinctive. Photographed at Anja Reserve where you can get really close to these lemurs. Fall,Geotagged,Lemur catta,Madagascar,Ring-tailed lemur Click/tap to enlarge

  1. Wonderfully creative composition, very unique!
PS: never worry about a species having many photos. More are always welcome.

The ring-tailed lemur is a large strepsirrhine primate and the most recognized lemur due to its long, black and white ringed tail. It belongs to Lemuridae, one of five lemur families, and is the only member of the "Lemur" genus. Like all lemurs it is endemic to the island of Madagascar and endangered.
