    1. Wow, what a wonderful complement - thank you, although there are some really amazing bird photos on JungleDragon. Yes, it took me awhile, being busy with children and work but now my wife and I travel together to all of the places I always wanted to visit - I am a lucky man indeed. Posted 8 years ago
      1. Indeed you are.
I wish I get to travel the world as much as you are doing now.
        ( Working towards it :) )
        Good luck with your travelling.
Do share more wonderful pics as you already are doing.

        1. Well, hang on to your dreams and someday you may get the chance. I had to wait until I was 50 years old - but life is worth living as long as you have dreams. Posted 8 years ago

The red fody, sometimes known as the Madagascar fody, red cardinal fody or common fody, is a small bird native to Madagascar and introduced to various other islands in the Indian Ocean. It is a common bird within its restricted range, and the International Union for Conservation of Nature has assessed its conservation status as being of "least concern".
