Prevost Squirrel in the Jungles of Borneo This beautiful squirrel came to an Orang Utan feeding platform in the jungle of Tanjung Puting National Park in Borneo to grab a snack before the stars showed up. Their coloration is amazing and you wonder how they don't all get eaten by predators! I would vote for this as most beautiful squirrel in the world. Anyone have other candidates? This beautiful squirrel came to an Orang Utan feeding platform in the jungle of Tanjung Puting National Park in Borneo to grab a snack before the stars showed up.       Yeah well, he is not the only one. It pained me to decide that there was a more beautiful squirrel than the European Red Squirrel, which is a personal favorite of mine, but the combination of reddish-brown, black, and white is just tops. Now, as to which squirrel is most awesome - well, yes, i would have to agree with your choice. Have you ever seen one fly? Posted 8 years ago

        I've never seen a fly squirrel fly in real life, only in videos.         Posted 8 years ago

The Prevost's squirrel

Prevost's squirrel or Asian tri-colored squirrel is a species of rodent in the family Sciuridae. It is found in forest in the Thai-Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Borneo and nearby smaller islands, with an introduced population in northern Sulawesi.
