Icelandic landscape with Orcas
On a one-week whale watching tour in Iceland in winter, after two unsuccessful tries, we finally saw orcas where they paraded around in front of our harbor and psoed for postcard shots like this in front of a famous Icelandic landmark at Grundarfjörður.
The killer whale, also referred to as the orca whale or orca, and less commonly as the blackfish, is a toothed whale belonging to the oceanic dolphin family. Killer whales are found in all oceans, from the frigid Arctic and Antarctic regions to tropical seas.
