    Any reason it is named the winter webworm?

    1. I really don't know, Ferdy. Thanks for your appreciation! By the way, the flower was not chopped from its place. This catterpillars are quite nervous, like so many others, and they simply fell off to the ground at the minimum vibration. Posted 8 years ago

''Ocnogyna baetica'' is a moth of the family Erebidae. It is found in Italy, the Iberian Peninsula and North Africa.

Larvae have been recorded on ''Hedysarum'', ''Trifolium'', ''Erysimum'' and ''Malva''.
