  1. I can't see the lobes clearly from the picture, but if you are able to see it, then its likely Ramulus nematodes.
    They are also known as the nick-name, Mickey Mouse :D

    1. The photo shows one of the lobes, which I can just barely see at this magnification (it's partly in shadow). If you zoom in you should be able to see it pretty clearly. That nickname is great! Posted 8 years ago

Females
typical, wingless stick insects. They can grow quite big (14 – 16,5 cm), thus they are bigger than the R. nematodes variation with red males
on their head are two big, brown lobe-like expansions
short feelers, only 1 – 1,5 cm long
colour is ranges from brown to green

Males
typical, wingless stick insects. They are very thin, especially the legs, and grow to about 10 cm. Thus they are also bigger than the R. nematodes with red males
