These geckos are one of the species of geckos easily found on human-built structures in SE Asia. I was happy to also see a few of them in the rainforest.

This medium-sized gecko is easily identified by the pairs of black spots along its ventral surface, and by the black 'W' at the back of the neck. This nocturnal species occurs in primary lowland rainforests, sometimes venturing to the walls of buildings adjacent to the forest.
