These geckos were very common in the rainforests of the Santubong Peninsula north of Kuching.

Cnemaspis kendallii is a small, agile, wary gecko that is active both day and night. At night it is commonly found on boulders and large trees. By day it is typically hiding in the shadows of those same location. It is known from the Malay Peninsula, northwestern Borneo, and some nearby islands.
